Relate to the main character

The book that i am currently reading is called "The Party Room" by Morgan Burke and the main character's name is Kirsten. I think that i can relate to Kirsten because just like me, she likes to figure out things on her own and only asks for help when she really really needs it. Kirsten develops personaity and grows throughout the book because she is starting college and starts to realize all the different dangers that are around her. She is learning that she needs to be careful with what she does and says because anything that she says or does can have a bad effect on her when she least expects it, especially when she has somebody who is following her EVERY move.
