The theme from my first independent reading book was, people aren't what they seem to be. In my opinion everybody can relate themselves to this quote. I would relate this theme to an everyday life. Theres times where you think or feel that your very close to somebody but you really don't know if they are lieing to you or if they are talking bad about you behind your back. Ive had that happen to me before and its not something too fun to have experienced. It came down to the point where i lost a bestfriend, or so i thought she was my bestfriend. Oh well, nothing much to do at this point but to keep moving forward and keep my chin up hoping for the best in life.
